Northern Dairy Shorthorn


The rarest British cattle breed, currently in 2009 there are only 16 pure Northern Dairy Shorthorn cattle plus several others in the grade up register. The Northern Dairy Shorthorn has a separate section in the Coates Herd book of the Dairy Shorthorn breed.

The Shorthorn Society of United Kingdom & Ireland was formed in 1944.
