British Milksheep - Sheep breed

Developed by Lawrence Alderson between the early 1960's and 1980.

Uses:The most prolific native breed when bred pure. A dairy breed also suited for crossing to produce prolific ewes. Lamb, hogget, mutton. Wool: Blended for knitting yarns.

Class:Down. Strictly speaking a composite breed. Polled.
Colour:Creamy white
